Tehran Bazaar buzz on eve of Persian New Year

Experience the hustle and bustle of Tehran’s Grand Bazaar on the eve of the Persian New Year!

With the holy month of Ramadan and the Persian New Year, Nowruz, aligning in Iran, the bustling streets of Tehran’s Grand Bazaar are alive with locals shopping for goods and clothing.

The market is the ultimate shopping experience in the country. It extends about 10km with more than 180 stores selling a wide range of items. 

This year, Iranians welcome Nowruz on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

This ancient festival marks the beginning of spring in the country and is one of the most significant celebrations in the Iranian calendar.
